Reviews for Higurashi When They Cry: Dice Killing Arc Manga

This review contains spoilers. “Higurashi's Naku Koro ni” is a horror series I want to read. This is the afterstory after the main story is completed. It was a sad story that confronted me with what Rika lost in order to have a happy ending in the main story. I wonder if this is a world where this could have happened...?

This review contains spoilers. The comic version of the Slayer edition broadcast on “Higurashi no Nakukoro ni Rei” is drawn by Suzuragi Karin sensei, who has drawn many Higurashi comics, such as Demon Slayer Edition, and Sin Slayer Edition. Includes the following spoilers. This world is very different from what Rika and the others have lived in until now. First of all, there is no Keiichi. There is no poetic sound. There is no feather. Takano isn't there either. Also, Satsuko, who was her best friend, is cold towards Rika, and even Meine is burdened with harassing Rika. The only ones that didn't change (in terms of personality) were Lena and Satoshi. Lena is still a good girl. And best of all, it's the world of Showa 58, where Rika's parents lived... it can be said that only God knows whether this world Rika lived in was a dream or reality. When I learned about the feelings Hanyu wanted to convey to Rika, I felt helplessly sad. There are no grotesque scenes or scary scenes, and scenes where Rika struggles with this world alone continue, so I think even those who don't like it can read it with peace of mind. I wish I had read it sooner. I almost cried at the end, in the scene where my family of 3 people surrounded the dining table...

This review contains spoilers. This is the afterstory of “Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.” This is a story after the main story, so I think it's better to read it after you've finished reading the main story. It's an if story, and I couldn't help but feel heartbroken to see Rika, who should have won the future, experience even more suffering. But I wonder if it was necessary for Rika, who lived in a different time from others.
