Reviews for Vinland Saga Manga

This review contains spoilers. I learned about Vinland Saga in commercials, and when up to 3 episodes were broadcast in the animation, I wanted to read the original story, which is why I started reading Vinsaga. At first, I was excited to fight, but through Torfin's own suffering, I also began to think about what a true warrior is. This time, even though we made it all the way to Vinland, another war broke out, and I was worried, “Oh, humanity will repeat the same thing forever...” However, I'm glad that there is Torfin who still wants to be friends with Woo Woo even when there is a fight. There have been many deaths, and Einar has finally killed people, but I feel like I was able to see a little hope at the very end. Russia's invasion of Ukraine did not stop even in the real world, and war broke out starting with America attacking Iran. War makes everyone unhappy. It always makes people suffer. I am keenly aware that it is important for each of us to sincerely think “I have no enemies” and continue to act like Torfin. I hope this work will reach the hearts of as many people as possible. I hope so. And thank you so much to the author, Yukimura, for bringing such a wonderful work to the world.

This review contains spoilers. I think the way readers look at it will change depending on what knowledge they have. For me, it was nice to see the protagonist's struggle, which directly opposed the Vikings' idea that those who fought bravely would be taken to heaven. However, I felt a little sad when people who had no choice but to take up arms to prevent damage to their friends and family would end up in a dim world of death. However, I think it's the best work you can read while thinking about what it means to take up arms and what the ending will be for those who don't search for ways to protect them.

This review contains spoilers. Thank you for the serialization. During the series that began when I was a student, I also got a job, got married, and had 2 children. At the time it started, the Iraq War had roughly come to an end, and I remember that terrorism was occurring all over the world. The review title starts with the author's afterword of the last volume. Did the human society achieve any growth in 20 years during the series? Even as I live with children, I am a person who has lost out of necessity. I will definitely go there sometime. This prayer-like story is very important to me.

This review contains spoilers. When Asherad is gone, will it be possible to maintain the fun in the future!? I was worried, but that worry was unfounded. Even though I thought it was Kiri's good point, I was obsessed with reading the latest edition. Volume 8 is rather a prelude. This was where the real battle for Torfin began. It's complicated when you think about the history of the American continent after this, but how will it end? I was excited when I realized that Vinland was in the same place as Anne of Green Gables, which I had a crush on when I was a kid.

This review contains spoilers. A great adventure story that begins with the revenge of a boy who was beaten by his father. When I was a kid, I was a fan of “Little Vikings, Bicke,” and I believed that Vikings were barbaric yet kind people. As I learned about history, I was shocked to learn that the vicious and bloody Vikings were different from Bicke and the others. But even in times of power, I think it's the same that love dominates humans.
