The situation with the FL a/t beginning is IMHO resolved a bit too quickly but of course, Mary is no little lamb and continues to target the Rhedsums. By now, the FL has changed, too. And that's where the story really takes off - more drama, plotting and scheming than you'd think.
At the end of chapter 16, I'm still waiting for:
- Alan to be or get married.
- Mary to get her comeuppance.
- Kiel to finally go where his heart leads him.
- The Scott-dukedom being taken down.
- The Rhedsums being granted the title of duke.
- The rest of the chapters of this story! ;-)(3)
