I love how the subsequent chapters show more of Yoh’s inner thoughts and why the miscommunication even happens anyway. The first volume was more what it’s like living with “his personal weatherman” but chapters 7+ are now Yoh’s struggle in standing equally with the man he reveres. Truly, truly recommend reading it and to support Nikke-sensei!

I'm glad I read this after watching because it enhanced my understanding of both characters and I could envision the actors as I read through. Now I want to re-watch the series!
I love that both characters are equally obsessed with each other they just don't know how to (or are uncomfortable in) expressing their feelings.(3)
