I wrote a whole essay on how this story isn’t worth it and now it’s all gone. I used the whole word count. Imagine. I was so upset but now I’m pi*sed. To summarize: the story isn’t worth reading and the money spend. I wish I could do a tax write off but probably not…no, not really. :(

Great charactersThis review contains spoilers. This story has been great tool read. All characters have an amazing personality and you end up rooting for them all eventually. The pacing is great and the story is developing wonderfully.

Cute, great chemistryLove the main character. She really is an amazing girl boss. Super easy to cheer for. The manga is definitely has that hint of tease always making you want to read more.

Cutest storyThis story is so cute. I love Sono and Fido. I wonder if Fido loves her and is scared cause he lost a love one or truly just sees her as a friend. Either way I want them together so bad.

Great leads and paceI didn’t know what to expect at first but really love the pace and both the lead characters. It’s slowly becoming one of my favourites and I can’t wait to see how it develops.

Hooked on the dramaMost of these stories I get recommended I expect to be very…yknow.. without a whole lot of substance to the characters or story, maybe cliche at the least. However I was completely taken aback when I found myself wanting to learn more and more about the protagonist, I was genuinely annoyed and entertained with the antagonists and I haven’t been able to stop reading this!! It’s been one of my very favorites so far. If you relate to having to rely on yourself to get through life you may just end up loving and relating to the main character of this story as a woman. Her love arc with Shiba is so fascinating and although it’s obvious to the reader what’s going on, you’ll be completely entranced by her perspective in this story.

Messy, but very good. I’m invested!Honestly this story is full of tropes, but they’re done so well and don’t always end up as you’d expect. There’s a lot of drama, and I’d say each character is flawed in their own way, but that makes this even better. They all feel realistic and as the story progresses, like you’re seeing real change. I don’t feel like it’s heavy on the romance, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you may not love it. However, it’s what I was looking for, and I don’t even care anymore because I find the actual story and plot much more interesting.

Left needing moreGreat story. Each chapter has you wanting to know more. Which she would figure things out a little faster but it keeps you wanting to read more to see when she finally figures out who it is she really does love.

It pulls you in.The main character is an go-getter who still needs help at times which is refreshing from the ones that are either constantly needing help or completely independent.

Hooks you inI never thought I’d be the type to enjoy this genre, but I am! The MC is a strong female lead, but she tends to show her vulnerable side to the the male interest. It’s interesting to also see the other characters fleshed out too.

It's sooo gooodI kept seeing this on ads and the teaser pulled me in. So far after reading chapter 7, I'm rooting for MC and Shiba! And I also want to wipe the smug off her ex and that Maiya faces.

Sooo GoodFirst of all, I love the main character so much! She’s so gorgeous and such a strong, confident woman, despite how her male superiors try to treat her. Her and Shiba are like opposites that attract. He’s very free-spirited and relaxed, and she’s somewhat rigid at first and very by-the-book. Over time, I love that we see them influence each other and help balance each other out. She unknowingly helps Shiba become more responsible and motivated, and he helps her learn to relax and just enjoy herself sometimes. And did I mention the art?? The art style is soooo pretty!

Enjoyable, classic career woman storyThis has been an enjoyable read. It's got a classic story of a woman focused on her career when things seem to fall apart until some new men arrive in her life. It's sweet and engaging. It's got some tropes of being bullied by co-workers, male MC coming to female MC's aid, and a somewhat unbelievable ability of the female MC to totally miss major clues.

Eyeing Shiba from Next DoorThis review contains spoilers. It’s kind slow at first and the back and forth between the MC ‘s is fun but annoying to watch. Like it’s there are sparks between them, then they’re like friends another time, only to end up like strangers the next second. The villainess is just an attraction seeking dog who is to creepily obsessed with the FL. The only think I like about her is that she took the MC’s useless boyfriend from her.
