Reviews for OPERATION:MONARCH Manga

I wanted to read more and more, and I felt like I finished reading it in a blink of an eye. Hats off to Kano-sensei that he was able to include this many episodes in 120 or so pages!

It seems to be part of a series called Caramère, but it feels like the story unfolds in a very broad, weak, and unimpressive suspense. The truth was quickly told, whether it was due to time restrictions or quantitative restrictions, and I was reading “Was that so!?” Such unexpectedness and strange fate were both lukewarm. In spite of breaking away from a young love, the two people as adults are still close to friends or seldom show feelings beyond the position of being on each other's side, so I think it would be a little more intoxicating. Even though it's a story about someone close to the king, there is no such thing as a burdensome security thing in the face of personal danger, and overall, the movement lacks some sense of speed. The action was a bit energetic onboard, but the criminal gang talked too much and the scene inside the royal palace wasn't completely turned into another mountain area. Even if the main focus is on showing cooperation between the two main people to unravel the truth, there is little tingling shining in the mood against the threat of terrorism somewhere in this story. If only the main story had a picture of the two main characters, at least as high a sense of dynamism and aesthetics as the cover!

There was a thrilling suspense, there was a romance between the two, and the story was well thought out and I enjoyed it until the end!
