If I reread it now

A romantic comedy that makes you feel a sour and slightly lonely feeling like you want to go back to those days

Genshiken

It's a comic where students make a fuss in the university's otaku circle. After volume 10, it is the second term.

A story made up of Saki-chan's charm

A youth group drama about otaku that depicts the free and deep atmosphere of a circle called Genshiken. It's a work where the author, who takes pride in otaku and shows understanding for otaku, is overflowing with love for otaku and spurts out. I read it all at once, including the second generation.

Otaku manga

Genshiken: The Contemporary Vision Study Group is, in a nutshell, an otaku club where people who love anime and doujinshi gather together. This work begins when the protagonist: Kanji Sasahara enters college and is about to join Genshiken. Through interaction between seniors, who are lovable and charming, and juniors who are newly joining the club from the following year, a fun otaku life is depicted in a fresh way, and it makes me want to join such a circle myself. It's such a work. “Genshiken, Part 2,” which began a few years after completing the main story, is actually chapter 2. That hasn't changed, and it's fun to read.

It's a bit old though.

It's a bit old, but otaku are similar now and in the past.

nostalgic

I think it's irresistible for otaku. I'm thinking. I wanted to cosplay. But I'm not as nice as Ohno, so I can't do it. I'm reading it while sympathizing with understanding. Otaku part. What unfolds from here on out is different for each person.

All kinds of otaku ingredients are fresh. There are things I know and others I don't know, but I enjoyed it.

Honestly interesting

This is a comic that conveys the real pain of otaku. The fact that the time line progresses rapidly is also easy to read. There are plenty of stories that use original material from other anime and games, and technical terms, so I'm a little doubtful whether people with no knowledge at all can enjoy it. Rather, if you have even a little bit of knowledge, you can enjoy it quite a bit. The coat color of the unbranded one and the second generation is quite different, but it was so interesting that I could read it all at once.

so easily...

There are many people who simply dismiss otaku stuff, but I think the increase in otaku comics and novels in the world is also influenced by this comic. Maybe it's just that I don't know, but until then I hadn't seen anything with an otaku as the main character. It's the forerunner of nerdy stuff, at least for me.

It's interesting

It was a work I didn't want to finish. Madarame is a character I never get tired of watching. Maybe there aren't any comics that depict the youth and romance of otaku in such a realistic way

Otaku stories are scattered all over the place. There were things I knew and others I didn't know, but even so, I enjoyed it enough. Kasukabe is awesome.

I remembered it.

It reminded me of my college days. It was Manken though. I played a game in Yarrow's dirty room. We didn't win though! I stayed in the club room and drew pictures. Oh, I miss it. it was the most chaotic in my life lol

Otaku no Seishun manga

I enjoyed reading the second generation too. It's interesting that the emotional conflict is painful, such as making otaku and rotten girls run away from their surroundings, and not being able to have an honest relationship. I'm happy when I understand the original story of parodies of anime etc. that come up from time to time.

The tempo is good

This work is set in a university otaku club. Those who are simply genshiken are really immersed in so-called otaku. However, since the second generation, it has been a main story about Rotten Girls, so it's quite different. It might be a good idea to read Genshiken after reading The Second Generation.

3 volumes already read ⭐️ 3.5

This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. I wonder if things that seem like human rights began to be given to so-called “otaku” around the time this work was serialized because there are many people whose second person is an “otaku”... otaku? ?? ?? ?? There are idioms born from comics, and “I've never been hit by my father” used in this work is popular “if you give up, the game ends there,” and “I've never carried anything heavier than chopsticks” are old words, but after all, I wonder if someone used it in a clever way and spread it? The tablet I have to write reviews is about 500g recently, and I don't have anything heavier than this?
